The automatic transmission THM350 was designed to take place of the 2-speed Super Turbine 300 and Powerglide gearboxes.One important difference in the THM350 compared to the THM400 is there is no fixed center support midway through the geartrain, this significant difference in layout allowed THM350 to be adjusted to the Corvair where the drive and driven ends are the same.
