The 4-speed automatic transmission A4AF-3, A4BF-3 was designed in 2000 by Hyundai specialists and was supposed to become a successor of the A4AF1 for FWD medium vehicles such as Hyundai Matrix, Elantra, Accent, with engine up to 2 liters.
