The 7-speed dual-clutch transmission DQ381 with a pair of «wet» clutches is a "relative" of the DQ500 installed on Audi RS3 and TT RS. These transmissions have similar electro-hydraulic control unit and numerous gears. The DQ381 replaced the DQ250. It operates jointly with powerful diesel and gasoline engines.
