A999

The 3-speed automatic transmission A999 (also referred 32 RH) was produced by Chrysler. This transmission is very similar to the A904 transmission. It is equipped with 5 direct friction discs. Both automatic transmissions A999 as well as A904 have lower 1-st and 2-nd gear ratios, which help low-capacity engines to ensure better acceleration without any losses to highway fuel efficiency.
