Allison 8000/9000

These advanced units were designed for operation under the most severe conditions and they can be applied in vehicles with the power capacity of 1200 hp (for 8000 Series) and 2600 hp. Allison 8000 Series transmissions can have up to 6 forward gears and 1 R-gear, while the 9000 Series units can have up to 8 forward gears (6 gears for commercial vehicles) and up to 2 R-gears. These transmissions are notable for high performance characteristics and reliability. Moreover, they can be equipped with hydraulic retarder-brakes, 2 PTO mechanisms, and flange adapters.
