The 4-speed automatic transmission JR401E (produced by Jatco) has been assembled since 1984, but before 2000 it was known as 4N71B. On cars produced by Mazda, this transmission is known as N4A-EL. The transmission is intended for cars with 3-liter engines and 280 Nm of torque.
