The 8-speed automatic transmission 8HP90 was produced by ZF for BMW car models. The torque capacity of this transmission equals up to 1000 Nm. ZF 8HP70 replaced the 6-speed automatic transmission GA6HP32Z. The 8HP90 is installed on BMW car models of the 7 -th series (F01/F02/F03) as well as on Rolls-Royce Ghost/Wraith/Dawn equipped with the rear-wheel drive (GA8HP90Z) and gasoline-engine N74.
