The 6-speed automatic transmission GM 6Т40 has been produced since 2006 at the Chinese plant. This transmissionis installed on numerous GM models with 1.6 - 2.5 liter engines . The 6T40E was developed in collaboration with Ford, therefore it is also known as Ford 6F30.
