The automatic transmission 4T45E was developed for operation with 3.0-3.5 liter engines which have the torque capacity of up to 278 Nm. This transmission turned out to be more reliable than VT25-E and replaced this CVT on Saturn VUE. The 4T45E transmission can be installed on cars with a total weight up to 2 tonnes.
