1000 and 2000 automatic gearboxes for recently introduced International CV
Series trucks.
Following

America, now the company wants to optimize its activity in Europe. After a

to reduce the number of production facilities in Europe.
Debates on the future of manual transmissions
in the time of auto industry automation do not go off. In the pursuit of
profit, major carmakers often give preference to more popular automatic
transmissions. However, it does not always have the desired effect. For
example, the recently presented 2020 Toyota Supra, equipped with the 8-speed
automatic transmission (only!) received a lot of mixed reviews.

Mercedes vehicles at the manufacturing enterprise in Romania.

a sophisticated Simcenter Amesim simulation software provided by Siemens PLM to
improve its transmission development process and prevent final-stage challenges
with meeting production deadlines.
ZF has teamed up with Microsoft to create one of
the most sophisticated cloud platforms on the car market. This endeavor will
allow ZF to strengthen its positions in the field of automated technologies,
car movement control, driving safety, and electrification initiatives.
