Recently, ATC Drivetrain (“ATC”), a leading independent remanufacturer of car transmission parts located in Oklahoma, has reached an agreement on the takeover of ATP with its founder Alan Smart. Financial conditions of the deal are still kept private.
Recently, Allison Transmission, the world-renowned producer of transmission solutions for different types of vehicles, has reported about the takeover of Vantage Power and a subsidiary of AxleTech.
Dana Inc. has recently reported that the company has finalized the takeover deal of the Drive Systems division of the Oerlikon Group, including the Graziano and Fairfield brands. Recently, it has been reported that ETE REMAN, a key aftermarket automatic gearbox remanufacturer in the US, takes over ATSG, the world number one in automatic transmission technical assistance and training. ATSG President Wayne Colonna will retain his current position and become the new Technical Director at ETE REMAN.

Sonnax Industries Inc, a producer of gearbox components, was acquired in early April of 2018 by Marmon Holdings, Inc, an affiliated company of Warren Buffett’s enterprise, Berkshire Hathaway.
