Collection of Abandoned Retro Cars and Powertrain Components Found in France
According to media reports, a unique collection of retro cars and powertrain components (engines, transmissions) were found in France at some abandoned warehouse.The collection includes 81 cars and some of them turned out to be exclusive and expensive sports cars, such as Lamborghini Miura P400 and Jaguar E-Type of the first generation. Found cars were put on auction on 20 January 2019.

The main part of the abandoned collection
includes foreign cars produced in the 1960s-70s. There are also quite rare and
old cars made in the early 1900s (for example, the cabriolet produced in 1905
by the French company Rolland-Pilain).
Lamborghini Miura P400
Nevertheless, the gem of this collection is
still the Lamborghini Miura P400 manufactured in 1968. This model is equipped
with an original 3,9-liter V12 engine. During its long service life this sports
car covered 77,886 km. The estimated price of this car is 400-600 thousand
euros.

The collection also includes the following rare models: Porsche 356 (released in 1953), Lancia Flaminia, Lincoln Continental, Chevrolet Corvette (released in 1981), as well as a unique Citroen van produced in the 1930s. The following brands are also presented in the collection: Peugeot, Volkswagen, Audi, Alfa Romeo, Oldsmobile, Cadillac, Chrysler and Renault. Moreover, engines, transmissions and wheels for retro cars were also put on auction. In general, the number of auction items reached 100.
