Allison Transmission to show popular Off-Highway Series models at Bauma 2019

It has been reported that Allison Transmission will showcase its products for off-road trucks at Bauma 2019, the world’s major exhibition for construction vehicles.

Heavy-duty gearboxes developed by Allison found application in dump-body trucks, tippers or concrete-mixing vehicles produced by well-known companies (such as Terex, Bell Equipment and Volvo). At Allison’s stand visitors of the exhibition will be able to see a cutaway model of the 4000 Series and examine components of this sophisticated gearbox with the help of the augmented reality technology.

Thanks to Continuous Power feature implemented in Allison transmissions, truck drivers can speed up faster, enjoy functional adaptability and enhanced efficiency. In comparison with manual or robotic gearboxes, Allison solutions do not lose power in the process of gear shifting. Trucks are easy to control, to move slowly on loose ground and to maneuver on limited areas. They are more efficient on hills thanks to the 2nd Reverse feature and are more manageable on steep slopes.
