Stuck TCC solenoid causes stall
Debris in the transmission can stick the torque converter clutch solenoid inside the TEHCM so it fails to release TCC during coast-down, pulling engine speed down and stalling the engine at a stop.

Launch and 2-3 upshift shudder
Drivers report a severe shudder from a stop in 1st gear, in 4th gear while driving, or during 2-3 upshift/3-2 downshift, caused by debris or scoring in the valve bodies.

Delayed or firm upshifts, shift flare
Some vehicles exhibit delayed 1-2/2-3/3-4 upshifts, a firm 2-3 upshift, or 4-5/5-6 shift flare if throttle is released and reapplied mid-shift, corrected by a TCM calibration update.
