Worn line pressure components can cause reverse slip, poor line pressure control, poor forward and reverse engagement, soft reverse and poor cooler charge at idle.

TCC slip & delayed engagement
Cooler or converter restrictions can cause torque converter clutch slip at high torque, delayed engagements, slow converter fill, excessive stall speed and hydraulic noise.

Converter bushing/turbine shaft seal wear
Wear of the converter cover bushing or crankshaft pilot lets the turbine shaft sealing rings cross-leak, upsetting TCC apply and release oil control.
