A defective 1st clutch (or worn 1st accumulator/gears) causes the vehicle to move in 2nd and Reverse but not in D, D3, or 1st.

2nd clutch defective
A defective 2nd clutch (or worn 2nd accumulator/gears) causes the vehicle to move in D, 1, and R but not in 2nd gear.
