A failed seal ring at the oil cooler connection allows engine coolant to enter the ATF, causing loss of drive and eventual transmission failure.

Wear in the valve body's regulator and solenoid bores leads to erratic pressures, shift flares, and TCC control problems.

TCC RPM fluctuation / overheated fluid
The torque converter clutch can stay fully applied at low speed and high load, causing break-away slip, RPM fluctuation and overheated fluid.
