Pulley

Standard CVT transmissions include 3 main components: driving and driven pulleys with variable diameters and a metal (rubber) belt. Each pulley consists of 2 cones oriented towards each other. Pulleys operate in pairs: driving pulley is connected to the engine shaft (also called input shaft). Via this shaft energy is transmitted from the engine to the transmission. The driven pulley transmits torque to the wheel shaft.
